is a lot of controversy and misguided information online about
is, its all true! WHAT!
Well, to an extent.
You see there are breeds who have
a gene that stunts the size of the dog, and there are runts.
Also there different variations of the smaller structure genealogy.
Take the poodle for instants,
they have teacup poodles, that are just the smaller variation
of the toy poodle, perfectly healthy, but cannot be bred.
cant they be bred? Well they do not have the many
generations behind them supporting that gene, such as the Yorkie
Also you must be careful that
you do not buy a runt, lots of breeders well sell a runt as a
teacup. always ask the parents size.
A true teacup has generations
of the smaller structured genes along the blood line.
They are just as healthy as the
big ones. but of course sense they are smaller they can easy get
hurt if stepped on, or played ruffly, These
are not dogs for young children.
what about the Micro?
Well teacups are many, many generations in to breeding
but the micro just started, branched out and through the teacup
Teacups are 5-4 pounds, where
a micro is 3 and under. and again, please make sure you do not
buy a runt! Runt do tend to have alot of health problems, and
sometimes can catch up in growth any how.
There are tests they can run to see if the puppy is healthy and
not a runt. Any professional breeder would be able to tell just
from raising the puppy, and again refer to the parents.
Micros, being fairly new (under 20 generations) are not recognized,
and so the breeder should state by the puppy the generation, such
as F-3 meaning third generation in size.

this time they are just feeling around and growing.
We give them stimuli about three times a day, by picking
them up, rubbing our face on them, petting their backs,
this help associate human smells with positive stimuli.
We also are talking to them, so they know human voices,
this will help them pick up commands when older.
far as development, they are scooting around and beginning
to build there muscles, they lift the head and look towards
We are now putting them on different textured blankets,
this stimulates the nerves in there feet and skin. To enhance
balance, and play. We also tickle them and scratch there
butts, to get a little more personal with them, to enhance
a bonding emotion in them young.
are also altering the lights, we had a soft light in the
room, for the development of the eyes, were now switching
once a day to an energy saver bulb, which isn't as hard
a common bulb, when there eyes open we wont use ether for
three days and just let some natural light flow in, then
we will go to soft bulb for a day then the energy saver
bulb switch again for at least a week. This well help them
be able to focus there eyes quicker. It also enhances night
vision, and makes the eyes with proper deit very healthy,
this time we aren't focusing on the development,
we are only focusing on the socializing,
they have just opened there eyes, and we want the eyes as
there ajusting to see us, we give them tons of petting,
and rub our fingers around the cheeks to get them to play
a bit with us, there ears are opening too so we have started
calling them by name.
we are only focusing on the socializing, play, security,
love and floppiness.
Leons ears could go ether way up or
a half up look with a floppyness on top. Who ever adopts
him should let us know if we should tape his ear to go up
or keep the floppy tops.
He well have long non-shedding hair
but it wont have the teddy curl to it for extra fluffiness.
look at meni mouse his hair type well be like hers.
Tri-Colors! The colors so far are
gold along his nose and cheeks, gold with black tips on
his legs neck and feet, white toes, black nose strip and
black back, silver circles around the eyes, gold eye brows,
and white chest with some silver on his neck.
are socializing, and working with the eyes, getting them
to follow and look in different directions to strengthen
the eye muscles, we are also grooming them so they don't
have to look through the fur, the fur causes there eyes
to be opposite of cross eyed, our pups are corrected at
this young age to have normal looking and functioning eyes,
PLEASE keep there eyes groomed
once you have them so our work isn't for nothing.
Next Week we will be starting up the senses stimulus.
The Hair has just started to grow,
and the puppies have just started to play, they also have
just started to eat, we only give them smashed up beef stew
at this time so its like a thick liquid made from peas,
carrots, beef and water cooked overnight
Please note: The
eye exercises are NOT to clear a genetic defect from our
lineages, our lineages come from healthy dogs.
But are actually something I had come up with.
My sons had lazy or crossed eyes as babies, doctor Siegel
from pacific eye institute had shown me exercises to do
with them to correct this. When I volunteered at the human
centers before I even had these dogs I noticed the way furry
dogs had developed an opposite look to the crossed eyes.
Due to looking around there fur. This has developed over
years and years of breeding the fuzzier dogs in many breeds.
Well I didn't like it and thought if I kept the face groomed
and did the eye exercises dr Siegel showed me for my children
I could correct it. Come to find out not only dose it correct
it, but if you do it while they are young, they grow to
have gorgeous eyes, ( See
my photo page ).
Once you receive a puppy the exercises are no longer needed,
just keeping the face groomed.
are still socializing, and working with the senses, We give
them different taste of safe organic foods, such as honey,
Dog Treats, beef broth, beef soup paste (home made), and
other foods, just a drop. This well give them a strong gut
able to also absourb a a variety of nutrients. We are also
now taking them to the yard, there eyes are adjusting to
sun light, and we are giving them different things to smell,
flowers, bugs, our cat, grass, rocks ex..
They are very play
full now, and wake up in a hurry when I say "puppy!"
they lick you, gnaw on you, cry for you, I even cuddle them
in the bed and they fall asleep with there little noses
snuggle up to you. They already have a strong attachment
to people. We just started taking them out side for there
senses so they are still in a state of awe when i do so,
during this weeks video youll be able to see the way they
react, and it may be a good choice for your keepsake. however
they do run to "Puppy!" but because of the awe
they ignored me, but by next week they will be used to it
so you may want the keepsake video to be next weeks. the
videos are PC format not DVD.
are working on motor skills, and listening skills,
we help them run up and down stairs (they are smaller then
the Teddy Bears so they need help.) and follow the puppy
noise. We also hide and yell puppy so they can find us.
we also use a cream rub on the feet, but theres no real
reason except they like it, it may have its benefits to
the pads. The
puppies are very active now, and the hair is coming in.
They are also teething on beef sticks.
I will be gone all weekend but my dad is watching them your
next update will be on the normal day saturday or sunday,
next weekend, not this weekend.
EIGHT Potty Training Using puppy Pads, and playing out side one hour after feedings. Fun and games. They learn action words like Wanta
Go, Puppy, and a few others which we have been doing, but
besides that it all about the human bond.
NEXT WEEK IS THE LAST UPDATE FOR THE EWOAKS. For those getting puppys shipped therefor will not have the puppy at 10 weeks, I will email Photos when requested.
Update.... Izzy is the only puppy that is getting the parti yorkies blue coloring! Its coming in as an undercoat so far on top of his head and around his eyes.
Izzy Tri Color! ADOPTED By
the chart he should be close to 6 pounds as an adult
a PDF i collected off the internet, when you bring your
new puppy home your old pet maybe upset, and even if they
don't show it i think you still should practice the steps.
dogs do not have human faces, so we cant see every little
expression, we see some, but not in smaller detail like
people, so we miss out alot on whats going on inside there
heads. and they do feel just like us, just because you
cant see it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
Update.... Izzy was completely potty trained at 4
months old and learned how to open a precision crate with with the
standard double lock. Izzy does have a silver head black coat and carmel legs he also has a very fine white blaze on his chest. The texture of his hair is very thick and has a high luster (like blue black) with a slight wave.
is 4.6 pounds (TeaCup)
NOTICE: Katie normal Stud is a Yorkie
who is 2 Pounds (Micro). During this heat some how Rover
our teddy sire had gotten to her. Our Ewoaks normally
would be bread through Freckles Imperial "Teddy Bear"
bloodline dam and the the Micro Yorkie stud we use for
Katie. You can NOT breed a small female to a large male
and this was thought the ONLY process to create a Ewoak,
however these puppies have been born, we had lost one
in labor due to size. and we are really Lucky to have
the ones we do, not to mention to still have Katie! They
are Ewoaks, but there well not be another litter this
size, because of the female being small the puppies are
really small with the Ewoaks we will produce later they
will range 6-8 pounds.
